Documents are processed in your browser
WordCraft Online uses an independently customized WordCraft 0.6.1 WebAssembly editor. Guest documents are edited in your browser and are not automatically uploaded. Only choosing Save to cloud after signing in sends your DOCX to the server, where it is associated with your account.
Downloading editor resources when the site loads is not the same as uploading your documents.
Saving files and closing pages
Use the File menu to download or export, or sign in and choose Save to cloud. There is no automatic cloud backup. Before closing, refreshing or switching rendering modes, save the latest changes to your device or account.
Some browsers show a local save dialog; others save via download. Whether a file is written to your device depends on completing the browser’s save process. Unsaved-close warnings are not a substitute for backups.
Browser local storage
The upstream editor may use local storage for preferences and IndexedDB for fonts you add. For Chinese browsers this site caches the open-source Noto Sans CJK SC document font in the same official font store to support Chinese rendering. These are not cloud sync. You can clear site data in your browser; doing so may reset preferences or remove added fonts.
Site access data
This site does not include ad scripts or custom third‑party analytics. The Manus hosting, CDN and DNS used for delivery may record normal request data (IP, user agent, paths, timestamps) for access, security and troubleshooting. We cannot promise zero access logs.
The Manus hosting platform may inject its own runtime components; this is separate from this site’s page logic. We do not send document contents from the browser to AI or analysis services.
Accounts and private cloud documents
Sign-in stores your verified identity, name, email and a protected session cookie. Email codes expire after 10 minutes and allow at most five attempts. Cloud files are encrypted; the server checks account ownership before decrypting a download. Documents are not sent to AI services. Cloud saving is manual, supports DOCX, and is limited to 20 MB per file, 100 MB and 100 files per account. Only the latest saved version is available; do not rely on it as your only backup.
External links and version changes
Google handles Google sign-in and Resend delivers email verification codes under their respective privacy policies. This notice will be updated when these services change.
